Prayer to Sun with folded hands every morning is very essential with following Stotra. These are the first two lines of " Nabagraha Stotra". Sun is the main source of our Solar System and directly related with "Karma".

I pay homage to the Sun, the bright shining
One, the maker of the day, enemy
of darkness, destroyer of evils,
resembling a red Hibiscus, descendent of Kashyapa. TRANSLATION
