Astrology reveals to us the effects of our previous Karma, just as a lamp illumines objects in darkness
“A man is born in this
world to enjoy or suffer the consequence of his deeds from his past birth. A
portion of this he reaps in heaven or hell but for the remnant he has to take a
new birth”. Stanza 33 of Chapter 1 of Prasna Marga translated by B.V. Raman
“There are two kinds of
Karma, viz., ‘sanchita’ and ‘prarabdha’. The effects of ‘sanchita’ will be
exhausted in heaven or hell. The result of the ‘prarabdha karma’ will be
lessened only by experiencing them”. Stanza 34
“Souls take fresh births
for reaping the fruits of previous lives. This cycle of births goes on until
the attainment of ‘moksha’.” Stanza 35
“Just as a lamp illumines
objects in darkness, astrology reveals to us the effects of our previous Karma,
good or bad. All the planets indicate clearly whether we are enjoying or suffering
now as a result of our actions in previous birth.” Stanza 36 & 37
“The balance of good or bad
Karma brought forward from the previous birth is ‘prarabdha’, and it is the

Karma theory in a nutshell
“We do Karma by body, by
words and by thoughts. Good, bad or indifferent, they are recorded to our
credit. The results of such acts are forwarded to the glorious Sun, who is the
Karma-sakshi for the whole world, in all its department of activities. These results
are noted by the solar officers and judgements are pronounced, as per Karma of
each Atma. Thus, when a person is to be born, according to his previous Karma in
environments, which are determined beforehand and according to which the
planets stand at the time of birth indicating rewards or punishments as the
results of previous Karma.” Famous astrologer Prof. B. S. Rao in Sri
Sarwarthachintamani (Page 51)
Prof Rao stated that this is the Karma theory in a
nutshell.

actions in the previous states of existence) as commonly understood by the
general public denotes a series of births and results of these acts are enjoyed
by him in the present birth in addition to what he may be able to do in this

acts of those who are dear and near to him.

Effectiveness & Appropriateness of Gems in Astrology
Five
to ten percent variation can be caused by wearing appropriate gems. Now, this 10% may be significant when the
native is suffering due to failures which may be termed as marginal. Moreover, we are aware of the concept of operating below
Break- Even Point ( BEP), when losses are suffered due to total cost being more
than total revenue. At BEP, there is no profit or loss OR total cost becomes
equal to total revenue. These losses can drain a company or proprietor of a
business into a total failure, if this situation continues for some time. Same is
the case with human being. Any adverse situation continuing for some time , may
be compared with operating below break even point in life. It should be given
top most priority and all measures must be taken to stop the “bleeding” of life
energy.
Therefore,
attempts should be made from all sides including wearing appropriate gems to
increase the strength and contribution of a planet to the native. In many
cases, it has been seen that the effect becomes more than 10% through
multiplier effect, when another planet/s get influenced [through association,
aspects etc] by the planet under consideration of gems.

Jai Ram: Prayer to Sun
Sun
represents ‘Ram’, ‘Narayana’ and is the main driving force of our solar system.
The zodiac sign occupied by Sun in natal chart signifies many important characteristics

Sun
represents soul.
In
Karma theory, solar officers report to Sun with all deeds ( good or bad) of
human being. A small article will be
written on this.
So,
when we are offering our prayer to Sun, we are praying to ‘Narayana’, the
maintainer of this world. Narayana or Vishnu is the preserver god, which means
he protects the earth from being destroyed and keeps it going. Ram was born in “Surya
Bang-sha” or “ Sun Family”. In India, most of the people are believed to be
devotees of Ram.
