The last two words of the sloka may be noted once more  "nihshesha jadyaapaha"

The meaning of these two words is " remove my ignorance"

Real name to be used in Astrology

Name is a significant part of human being. If we call a sleeping person by his name, he will wake up from sleep. Therefore, name reaches up to subconscious level of a person. Prayers to Almighty are also done by mentioning the name & family name including location in certain cases. 

Astrologer may get some sense from the name at the time of analysis of horoscope. In fact, as planets give vibrations in a person's chart, the name also gives vibrations and it may be an important part of the astrological insight.

Using complicated username or false name may stop astrologer to get the vibration from the chart or it may even mislead sometime. It is advisable to give due importance to the real name at the time of correspondences with any astrologer. Though at times astrologer may not give any importance to the name, that is entirely his discretion.

Remedial measures for badly placed planets as sub lords of Vimsottari Dasa

Following mantras, pujas were suggested in Brihat Parasari Hora Sastra  [ narrated by Great Sage Parashar]  as remedial measures for badly placed planets as sub lords of Vimsottari Dasa:

 
Sahasra Shibanaam was suggested in most cases of Jupiter.
 
Sahasra Bishnunaam  was suggested in all cases of Mercury.
 
Mritnnjay Jaap/ Til Hom were suggested in most cases of Saturn.
 
Shantikaran/ Aditya Hriday Jaap in most cases of Sun.
 
Durga Naam Jaap is effective for Moon.
 
Subrahmma Jaap/ Archana( Puja) of Brahmin for Mars.

Remedial measures for appeasement of the malevolent Grahas

 “Remedial Measures from the Malevolence of Grahas  (from Brihat Parasari Hora Sastra)

Maitreya said. O Venerable Sage! Please describe for the good of mankind the remedial measures for appeasement of the malevolent Grahas (Planets).

The Sage replied. I have already described the names and characteristic features and qualities of the Grahas. Joys and sorrows of all the creatures in the world are dependent on these Grahas. Therefore persons desirous of peace, wealth and prosperity, rainfall, good health and longevity should worship the Grahas (by prayers, recitation of Mantras, charity etc.).”

The famous Indian astrologer Mr. B. V. Raman  mentioned in page 58 of " My experiences in astrology" that his grandfather ( Prof. B. S. Rao) used to rely heavily on remedial measures. and wrote " The planets could be appeased by mantras and dana---- mantrenanena danena grahanee santimrichchati'"    [ dana= charity, donation, gift]

Relationship between Astrologer and client is a fiduciary relationship

The relationship between Astrologer and client is a fiduciary relationship. There should be mutual trust and understanding between them, whether it is a paid or honorary service. Other fiduciary relationships are father & son, doctor & patient, director & company and so on.  Persons under fiduciary relationship can influence each other, specially father, doctor or director in above examples, but they don’t do that or at least not supposed to take undue advantage from the relationship. This is due to the special relationship existing between these two identities, which are entirely on mutual trust and understanding.

It is important to understand this relationship in astrology, otherwise the client/ astrologer may not trust each other and best result will not come.  Lack of information, suppression of information or lack of respect to each other; all come from non-understanding this relationship.
